We link to thousands of communitarian publications as well as many other published works by authors whose goal and mission is to promote communitarian integration policies. Rather than use this page to direct you to a small sampling of authors I found compelling ten years ago, I've edited this down to just our inspiration list, because none of them are linked to anywhere else on the site. This list includes a few imperialists and others whose acts and ideals we are firmly opposed to. While many of them are "freedom fighters," we see these people as neither "all good" or "all bad." Their inclusion here means only that we studied them and their lives. It's the way they overcame great obstacles that inspired us to continue to build the ACL in spite of all the forces against us. A few of them we knew personally, and my father is on this list. For those readers who are "offended" by our inclusion of the "racist" Malcom X, we suggest you read what he discovered about himself after he made his trip to Mecca. --Niki R.
